suited to civil ceremonies includes those given below. There will always be
personal favourites that can be added or substituted. Some pieces are suitable to play before the ceremony begins. These should be instrumental versions of the songs purely to provide a gentle and familiar background while everyone is settling down, greeting one another and chatting. About 10 pieces of music lasting about 30 minutes should be sufficient. Some of these songs are suitable to play during the signing of the registers with the vocals as well. At this point you should choose something that means something to both of you. It is best to pick two items with the second fading out when the signing is over. Register signing usually takes between 5 and 8 minutes depending on the speed with which the Registrar works and whether there will be photographs taken at the same time. |
Choose from the list – and
add anything you want. I will then compile instrumental versions for the
occasion together with any vocal music. I’ll put everything onto a CD
in the order that they will be played. To put everything onto CD will cost £20.00 and the CD will be yours to keep. If you want me to come along with all the equipment and play the music it will cost a further £30.00 (within a 20 mile radius of Desborough - further afield by arrangement.)
