The following Price Guide is what it says, a guide. The prices quoted are the maximum that will be charged. The Guide should be read in conjunction with the explanations that follow it. A basic site of 5 pages costs £250 and will be sufficient for most small businesses.

Processing of graphics and photographs includes, but is not limited to, resizing, creating transparency effects, cropping, converting to web compatible format, creating collage and merge effects.

The Purchaser should note that all prices include:

	creating pages with original graphics (including navigation graphics as appropriate) and layouts to convey the information required;
	the creation of links within and outside the site;
	publishing new and updated files to the hosting company;
	monthly updates of information on the pages contained on the website, but not changes to graphics and photographs;
	submission of the website to search engines;
	coding and programming to identify the site to visitors and search engine robots;
	all necessary coding and programming to display the pages as suitable for Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator versions 5.0 and above;
	provision of text ‘bubbles’ for images to aid the visually impaired;
	hosting on the Desborough Town website (only available for businesses and organisations based in Desborough Northamptonshire);

These prices do not include:

	The purchase of domain names;
	The purchase of e-mail accounts;
	The purchase of webspace from a hosting company;
	e-commerce elements
	Re-design of layouts and page colours, text designs, graphics and new photographs.

The purchase of domain names, e-mail accounts and webspace will be carried out on the Purchaser’s behalf by DotSimple if the Purchaser is happy for this to be done. The Purchaser is free to make his or her own arrangements for these items. The cost of such purchases will be passed on to the Purchaser with no additional administration cost for carrying out the transaction. DotSimple will always seek the best service at the best price to suit the Purchaser’s needs.

DotSimple’s usual preferred providers for such services are Heavenly Hosts (http://www.heavenlyhosts.co.uk) particularly for websites for Christian organisations and churches. We have transferred most of our existing hosting accounts to them as they represent excellent value for money and provide a first class personal service.

A year's hosting currently costs £40 for business and £35 for churches and charities.

The Purchaser should be aware that there are ongoing costs from the providers of domain names, e-mail accounts and webspace that must be met by the Purchaser although DotSimple will, if the Purchaser so wishes, make these arrangements at no extra cost for administration and after discussion and agreement with the Purchaser.
