Greyhounds UK is specifically interested in the welfare of racing greyhounds and is actively campaigning for this to be properly addressed in the Bill. We have responded to the consultation exercise that began in 2001 and will continue to work towards securing satisfactory measures that safeguard the health and welfare of greyhounds in the Animal Welfare Bill.

We are convinced that the greyhound racing industry has failed to give the welfare of greyhounds the priority it deserves and that their commercial interest in the dogs will continue to detract them from it.

We do not seek funds.
We just ask that you add your voice to our campaign.
