In addition
to its regular worship, praise, prayer and ministry services, St Giles
Church celebrates the main Christian festivals of Easter, Pentecost and
Christmas. There are also special festivals and events through the
year that promote the beauty of God's creation, bring out the creativity of
parishioners and townspeople, spread the Good News to townspeople and/or
serve to raise funds for the work of the church locally and internationally. |

Flower Festival: usually the first weekend of September -

Dedication Service: the
second Sunday in September. All groups connected with the church are invited to take
part. The service celebrates the life of the church and those taking
part in it. This year's theme - Living Stones |
