Through Jesus Christ, St Giles Church is here to be a caring, sharing, worshipping community meeting the needs of all people

2008

In addition to its regular worship, praise, prayer and ministry services, St Giles Church celebrates the main Christian festivals of Easter, Pentecost and Christmas.  There are also special festivals and events through the year that promote the beauty of God's creation, bring out the creativity of parishioners and townspeople, spread the Good News to townspeople and/or serve to raise funds for the work of the church locally and internationally.
Palm Sunday: 16th April Flower Festival: usually the first weekend of September - For pictures of previous year's displays, click here
Good Friday: 21st April Dedication Service: the second Sunday in September.  All groups connected with the church are invited to take part.  The service celebrates the life of the church and those taking part in it. This year's theme - Living Stones
Easter Day: 23rd April Harvest Festival: October
