| Saturday December 7th | Belgian Evening from 7.30 pm in the Catholic
Church Hall A typical Belgian casserole to warm you up, Belgian chocolates to fill you up. The bar will provide the usual variety of wines, cordials and fizzies and - for this event - Belgian beer. Photos of our trip to Bievre earlier this year. |
| Monday December 23rd | Mulled Wine and Mince Pies with Jill and Bob - members only. |
| Saturday January 11th | Beetle drive at the Catholic Church Hall at 7.15 pm. Filled jacket potatoes, bar and raffle. |

| About 40 members turned up for the wine tasting evening in March. A fascinating insight into the techniques of tasting wine was followed by a competition to identify 8 different wines. |  |

On the last Sunday of June each year we meet
to play the Annual Boules Tournament.

We put on regular social events which have
included:
- safari suppers
- race nights
- quiz nights including a French-based one that included wine-tasting
- British night with songs and entertainment
- music and magic night
- barbecues
- barn dances
- cheese and wine evenings
- picnics
- beetle drive
We also take part in the Gala Evening every
year, provide a stall for the Desborough
Carnival and decorate a tree for the St Giles
Christmas Tree Festival.
